MOBOTIX LIVE is a robust application designed to provide seamless access to MOBOTIX cameras and door stations via smartphones or tablets. With its user-friendly interface, the app ensures that users can easily monitor their premises without missing any visitors, thanks to timely push notifications.

This application offers a range of features, including:

• Push notifications to alert users of visitors at the door.
• Display of ringing messages from MOBOTIX IP video door stations.
• Live imagery from MOBOTIX cameras, complete with gesture-controlled PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) functionality.
• Hands-free communication capabilities for intercom purposes.
• A playback feature that allows users to review the most recent recorded events.
• A grid view to simultaneously observe live streams from up to four MOBOTIX devices.
• A visitor view for tracking events related to doorbell rings at connected door stations.
• Automatic camera discovery, ensuring a quick and hassle-free setup.
• Remote connectivity via SSL, accompanied by a clear connection status display.
• Support for importing and exporting app configurations.
• Up to eight customizable soft buttons for controlling cameras and other IoT devices using HTTP/HTTPS API commands.

It is important to note that prior to accessing your cameras remotely via mobile data or other networks, proper router configuration is necessary to permit inbound traffic. Due to inherent security measures, routers typically restrict access to internal networks. Users are advised to consult their router and MOBOTIX camera manuals for guidance on external access, port forwarding, and dynamic DNS settings.

Users should also be aware that connection quality may fluctuate when utilizing wireless networks (Wi-Fi, 3G/4G) on mobile devices. This variability can result in delayed or failed notifications of events such as doorbell rings. Therefore, MOBOTIX recommends considering a cable-based intercom system as a complement to the application.

If the app is not frequently used, accessing it at least once a month is advisable to maintain push notification functionality. Additionally, reviewing release notes prior to installation is encouraged and can be found on the MOBOTIX website under the Support section.

System Requirements:

• iOS 11 or higher
• MOBOTIX IP Video Door Stations and IP cameras (P3/PXA320) with software version 4.7.2.18 or higher
• MOBOTIX IP Video Door Stations and IP cameras (Mx6) with software version 5.2.3.30 or higher

The app supports management of over 100 cameras depending on the mobile device type; for instance, an Apple iPhone 11 can manage more than 130 cameras.
